Performance of six songs in St John’s Churchyard, Bishops Castle. The songs were written or arranged by local folk legend John Kirkpatrick as part of the celebrations around the restoration of 12 Georgian monuments in the graveyard, as part of a project that was funded with a Heritage Fund grant. This is the first time that the songs have been sung in the churchyard – as originally intended – as the project coincided with covid restrictions in 2021. Come and listen to our local singers perform the songs in the churchyard on Sunday 30th June at 3pm.
