Located near the Stiperstones and ten miles from Shrewsbury, the village of Minsterley is a popular base for walkers. Annual events, such as the Minsterley Eisteddfod and Minsterley Show, attract visitors from across the country and are supported by the thriving community. Grade II listed house Minsterley Hall, built in 1581, lies on the edge of the village and although it’s a private residence, the estate does welcome visitors on occasion.
