Founded by the great Ronnie Lane after he left the Faces, Slim Chance is still going strong, redefining rock and roll and continuing to live up to their name as the ultimate good-time band. The show features many of Ronnie’s classic songs – including Ooh la la, How Come and The Poacher plus a few surprises – a rare mix of bonhomie and fine musicianship.

Following the release of ‘The Phoenix Tapes’, which featured a guest appearance by Pete Townshend,  the band draws on a huge range of talent for its live appearances and regularly features original members Steve Bingham, Charlie Hart, and Steve Simpson, with fine support from a pool of musicians that includes Geraint Watkins, Billy Nicholls, Brendan O’Neill, Frank Mead and Jim Russell.

By popular demand, Slim Chance are performing at the Memorial Hall in Clun on the Saturday 5th October (Doors open 7.45pm, music from 8.30pm). There is a full licenced bar, so please do not bring alcohol to the event.

When Slim Chance performed at the Memorial Hall in 2023, it was a ‘sell out’, with fans travelling from all over the Midlands to see them. Our capacity is 200, seated with a small dancing area for those who really can’t sit still!

Advance tickets are £18. If there are any left on the night, they will be on the door at £20.
