Featuring folk songs and compositions by Sue Harris and Polly Bolton, the stories of three remarkable women are woven, with narration and poems by women poets.
GERTRUDE JEKYLL was a garden designer and prolific garden writer. Her collaboration with architect, Edward Lutyens resulted in some of the most famous Arts and Crafts properties in the country.
ELLEN WILLMOTT was a wealthy woman who lived at Warley Place in Surrey, where she gardened for most of her life, aided by up to 100 gardeners.
HILDA MURRELL was born in Shrewsbury and joined the family rose growing business in Shrewsbury after attending Cambridge University. She was a naturalist and conservationist and a vocal opponent of nuclear weapons.
