Each route varies in length and suitability catering for individuals from intermediate to advanced ability. Most involve sharp inclines and some can include potentially hazardous sections, so experience of mountain biking is essential.

Stiperstones Loop – 22.5 miles
Take a ride through Stiperstones National Nature Reserve and enjoy the wild, rugged landscape. Climb to the top of Corndon Hill and visit Mitchell's Fold. A Bronze Age stone circle on the top of Stapeley Hill. Advanced skills are necessary for this stunning but challenging route .
Clun Loop – 21 miles
Suitable for all skill levels, this route begins in Clun. Ride through Hopton Woods and climb up to Bucknell Hill for some spectacular views. There is a sharp uphill climb and there are also parts where you may need to dismount and push your bike. And when you’re finished, why not stop by The White Horse Inn set in the heart of Clun for a chance to refuel and relax.

Hopton Wood Loop – 20.3 miles
Starting from The White Horse Inn at Clun, you head up to Stowe Hill. This route passes through both Hopton and Sowdley Wood, offering a challenging ride for the more experienced mountain biker.
Students Champs Descent – 14.6 miles
This route begins from The Bog car park and is a challenging ride. Therefore, advanced riding skills are required. There is some difficult and hazardous terrain and specialist equipment may be required. Passing through Eastridge Wood, it offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There is also an opportunity to stop at The Stiperstones Inn to replenish after a tough day’s ride.
Long Mynd Ridgeline – 20.9 miles
This route is for the more experienced rider and includes a very steep hill climb. Passing through Norbury, you make your way up to Pole Bank and Pole Bank Trig, the highest point of the Long Mynd. With spectacular views of the surrounding hills and valleys, this route is not to be missed if you’re seeking a challenge.
Bury Ditches – 14.6 miles
This single track route takes you through woodland and includes sharp descents and steep climbs. Due to the difficult terrain this suits an advanced rider with plenty of off-road experience, passing the Iron Age hill fort and showcasing some spectacular views.
Revelation Trail at Eastridge Wood - 5.2 miles
Steep inclines and descents amidst rocky trails and woodland is what makes this route such a challenging one. Despite being a short distance, it will definitely test your skills and fitness levels, therefore it is suited to advanced riders only with high-level skills in off-road riding. Maintained by the Eastridge Trail Partnership, you can find several events that are held here throughout the year.
