The library is open:

• Monday: 10.00am – 1.00pm
• Tuesday: 10.00am – 5.00pm
• Friday:10.00am – 5.00pm
• Saturday: 10.00am – 1.00pm

The library benefits from, disabled parking, level entry access and disabled toilets.

About

The library is autism-friendly and a recognised ‘safe place’. You can use the wi-fi and access the computers and scanning facilities for free. Photocopying and printing services are available, for a small charge.

Also available:

  • Specific SEND resources, such as dyslexia-friendly books
  • Large print
  • Audio books
  • Resources for people with memory problems
  • ‘Reading Well’ collections for mental health (children, young people, adults), long-term conditions and for people living with dementia (and their family members and carers)

The library also runs various activities outside of opening hours including book groups/clubs, story times, talks and demonstrations, and Summer Reading Challenge children’s events and activities. The library is well supported by an active Friends of the Library group.
