The Elephant Gate House is an elegant detached “listed” house originally built as a stable for The Castle Hotel over 300 years ago. The building remained a stable until a sympathetic conversion into the iconic Elephant House (as it is known throughout Bishop’s Castle) around 40 years ago. Many original features remain including oak beams and elegant fire places.
