Alan & Sandra Jones welcome you warmly to Ty Camlad Barn – a 16th Century barn conversion available for weekly rental for up to two people. Often described by returning guests as a ‘Rural Cathedral’ Ty Camlad is a beautiful space in which to relax and a great base from which to explore the Shropshire Hills or to venture further west into Mid Wales towards the Cardigan Bay coast.
It is immaculately presented throughout, with a vaulted ceiling and a large gable end window, which showcases uninterrupted views of the Camlad Valley. Providing spacious, contemporary accommodation, it is ideal for a romantic retreat or the solo traveller exploring this unspoilt part of the country. Ty Camlad has one super king-size double bedroom with a luxurious en-suite with slipper bath, and a further shower room on the ground floor. There is a well-equipped kitchen, with a four oven Aga together with a convection hob and electric oven. We have a large woodburner and you can buy further logs on site with us once you’ve used the pack provided.
You can rent Ty Camlad for a seven night stay, Friday to Friday or contact us direct for a bespoke stay of four or three nights.
Additionally, for shorter stays, we also have a ground floor access room with superking / twin bed and en suite shower room with its own separate access as an annexe of our 19th century farmhouse surrounded by a beautiful, two acre garden. There are views of the Camlad Valley including the Roundton Nature Reserve.
This room has a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, flatscreen TV, radio and hairdryer. Free, fast fibre Wi-Fi is available. Safe storage and drying for cyclists & walkers on request. Superking/Twin and Single tariffs available with pricing altering according to season.
