Located near the Pulverbatch road from Bishop's Castle, Norbury and Wentnor are nestled under the Norbury Hills and lower slopes of Long Mynd, making them a popular destination for walkers. A largely stone built village, it is notable for its church which features an unusual painted ceiling and Norman style tower with a broach spire. The Norbury churchyard yew tree is said to be one of the oldest and largest of its kind in Britain, attracting many visitors each year.
